Giving from a Single Sheet
Piggy Bank is a money box made from one flat sheet of paper for Pirosorrú Bohócdoktorok. The product design makes charitable giving tangible for children. It ships flat and fits easily into the mail.
Children fold the sheet into a three-dimensional pig themselves. Interlocking tabs provide the fixings. Assembly becomes part of the experience. Planbureau developed the concept, form and production-ready structure.

Making Giving Tangible
Giving can be an abstract idea for young children. The project needed a simple object that could turn collecting money into a personal activity. Low unit cost was essential.
The campaign also required larger production volumes. The object had to ship flat. It needed to fit easily into the mail and remain simple to assemble. The brief therefore combined a donation tool with a hands-on activity.
Form Without Glue
The entire pig had to emerge from one flat sheet. No glue or separate fasteners could be used. The finished object still needed to remain stable. Planbureau refined the folds and tabs through physical prototypes.
Each connection had to be clear and reliable. Assembly needed to feel intuitive for children. The friendly character also had to work within die-cutting and low-cost production constraints.
Fold, Save, Give
Piggy Bank turns from a flat paper sheet into a three-dimensional pig with a few folds. Interlocking tabs close the form without glue. Children assemble the object themselves. Building it becomes part of the experience.
The finished pig works as a simple money box. Its flat format keeps mailing and transport efficient. The one-sheet structure also supports economical production at scale. The object turns charitable giving into a concrete action.
