What we do

We design products, spaces, exhibitions and visual identities, and develop them with the technical and practical requirements of implementation in mind.

Some projects begin with a clearly defined brief. Others begin with a problem, an opportunity or an idea that still needs to be understood. We can join the process at either point and work from early concept development through prototyping, technical design, production and implementation.

product design

We develop products from early concepts through form, function, structure, materials and engineering to prototyping and production preparation.

Our workshop allows us to build and test ideas throughout the design process. Physical models, functional prototypes, 3D printing and CNC machining are used alongside digital development to evaluate proportions, ergonomics, mechanisms, materials and assembly.

Our work includes furniture, toys, consumer products, injection-moulded components, custom mechanisms and small-series objects. Mechanical engineering and production considerations are integrated into the process from the beginning.

CONTENT AND EXPERIENCE

We approach exhibitions through both design and curatorial thinking. Content, narrative, spatial organisation, graphics, objects, lighting, interaction and visitor experience can be developed as parts of the same system.

Our involvement can begin with the curatorial concept and storyline and continue through spatial design, visual communication, prototyping, technical development, production coordination and installation.

We work on permanent and temporary exhibitions, museum environments, travelling exhibitions, cultural projects, corporate exhibitions and installations at a wide range of scales.

FROM IDEA TO REALITY

We can join a project at different stages.

Sometimes there is only an initial idea or an undefined problem. In other cases, a concept already exists and requires design development, engineering or prototyping. We also work with projects that have reached the technical stage and need production coordination, detailing or implementation.

Our scope can therefore range from a focused design task to the complete development of a product, space, exhibition or visual system.
